Eat well, be mindful of every meal 🍽️🧠 Life doesn't need to be reset, just start by “reducing sugar, fat, and salt” 📉🍬🥓🧂
(Report from the 7th National Health Survey of Thailand, 2024-2025)

NCDs such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, and obesity account for 3 out of 4 deaths in Thailand 🚑 This is a major public health problem that has a huge impact on the lives and economy of the country ⚠️💰

45% (BMI ≥ 25 kg/m²) ⚖️ of Thais are obese at or under 15 years old, which is one of the main risk factors for NCDs and is a rapidly increasing problem 📈 because Thais are excessively “addicted to sweets.” On average, Thais consume more than “25 teaspoons of sugar per day,” which is 3 times higher than the WHO recommendation! 😱🍭

The increasing trend 📊 According to a survey from the Ministry of Public Health, Health problems associated with NCDs have increased dramatically in the past 10 years.

▪ Obesity has increased tenfold 📈🐷
▪ High blood pressure has increased more than twice 🩸
▪ The number of diabetic patients has increased 🩺🍬

Know your own status 🧐

▪ Blood pressure less than 120/80 mmHg 💓
▪ Blood sugar less than 100 mg/dL (fasting) 🩸
▪ Less than 140 mg/dL (2 hours after eating) 🍽️
▪ Blood lipid (LDL) less than 130 mg/dL 🥓

The Department of Health therefore has solutions to reduce the risk of NCDs ourselves 💡🛡️

▪ Increase fresh vegetables and fruits to 400 grams per day (6-8 tablespoons) 🥗🍎

Good health isn't built in a day, but in every meal you choose to eat. Reducing sugar, fat, and salt isn't about starving yourself, but about choosing the best for your body. The Department of Health encourages everyone to pay attention to nutrition for a long and healthy life. Start with this meal! 💪🥗❤️
