Responsibilities of the Health Insurance Group

The Health Insurance and Benefits Center provides services only during official working hours, in cases where service recipients have issues with their healthcare rights, such as those with out-of-district gold cards and out-of-district social security, for whom decisions cannot be made. In cases where contact cannot be established, the authority is given to the shift leader to make decisions on behalf of the service recipient. Subsequently, the Health Insurance Group will be responsible for follow-up.

In the event of internet and telephone system malfunctions that prevent verification of rights, the last received service right shall be upheld as the right to treatment, or if the service recipient has an identification card that can help confirm their rights, trust should be placed in the presented documents.

In the case of social security rights, the unit can provide healthcare and guidance services but cannot register or transfer healthcare facilities.
