The Department of Psychiatry and Substance Abuse Services at Phak Tha Hospital provides services in the areas of promotion, prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of mental health issues for individuals of all age groups and patients with psychiatric disorders. These services adhere to treatment standards and involve assessment, screening, diagnosis, treatment planning, as well as ongoing monitoring and follow-up to reduce complications and mortality among service recipients. The aim is to empower service recipients to lead a normal and fulfilling life under the development of knowledge based on professional standards. The program also focuses on suicide prevention within at-risk groups. It offers outpatient treatment for individuals with substance use disorders through the Matrix Program, community-based treatment (CBTx), and follows up on the recovery of individuals who have completed the treatment process according to established criteria. Collaboration with various networks/organizations within the community is coordinated to achieve these goals.
